The Opening Exhibitions

New China - Communism, traditional dresses, Mao and oriental landscapes are often expected in Chinese art. Today, a whole new generation is involved in a wide range of different subjects and increasingly individual thought which show China in a completely new way. Having limited institutions for the promotion of art and being still largely dependent on western investors, we seek young and unknown talents to promote this up-and-coming artscene and its unknown, original and unique works. Working together with the Chinese Academy for Fine Arts (CAFA) in  both Hangzhou and Beijing and the Three Shadows gallery in Beijing, we show a selection of Chinese art you wouldn’t normally expect.

Digital Art - Digital Art is an umbrella term for a range of artistic works and practices that exploit digital technology. From 2D drawings to complex 3D geometrical shapes these works form futuristic expressions of imagination. All artist exhibit their works for the first time in an fine-art gallery. It is our aim to promote this up-and-coming art form, which is already widely used in media productions. For this exhibition RedBird has cooperates with LeewiArt, one of the largest digital art foundations of Asia. Works will also be exhibited in universities, a technology museum and on comic, games and anime fairs.

Culture of Killing – Multiple series about wildlife conservation and environmental issues will donate half of its profit to non-profit organizations. Showing decisive moments or just profound beauty these works grab their viewer’s attention and want to tell their story. Permanent exhibition – Besides three opening exhibitions a whole wide range of works are exhibited. From the Flickr talents you always wanted to see upclose, extraordinary landscapes, faces of Koerdistan, Dutch up-and-coming talents and many more.
